Reading Room

Reading Room is a community library set up to provide a non-threatening creative space for children to read, write, paint, play and explore. It offers free access to a wide range of collections and resources with a commitment to creating a positive learning environment for children and young adults. The library is dedicated to empowering young minds to become thoughtful, compassionate, and responsible citizens. 

• The library hosts a collection of more than 5 thousand books and journals on many disciplines.
• The books are classified using the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) and catalogued with the Koha Open Source System.
• The library staff are trained to facilitate reading activities and to systematically classify and catalogue books.
• The staff organises Sunday sessions, library visits, and winter and summer camps on a continuous basis.
